Admissions

Applicants to the MFA program must have a four-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum B+ average in the final half of the program. In addition to transcripts, applicants will be asked to submit a portfolio of visual or written work and a personal statement on academic and career objectives and creative interests. Two letters of recommendation from referees qualified to write about your academic and creative abilities are required. A third letter of recommendation, from a referee who is familiar with your professional work, is optional. Applicants whose language of instruction during their undergraduate studies was a language other than English are required to submit a test of English language proficiency.

Applications for admission should be sent to Graduate Admissions.
