Edward S. Rogers Sr. Graduate Student Fellowships

The first of many $20,000 Edward S. Rogers Sr. Graduate School Fellowships were offered in 2001 to Canadian students in the Communication And Culture Program in the School of Graduate Studies at Ryerson. These awards were established by Ted and Loretta Rogers to honour the contributions of Edward S. Rogers Sr. to the Communication Industry. In the 2004/5 academic year, it is anticipated that more than 16 students will be awarded the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Graduate School Fellowships.

The fellowships are available annually to recognize the accomplishments of Master's and Doctoral level students who have demonstrated outstanding academic accomplishments. All eligible incoming graduate students to programs in the Communications area are automaticallyconsidered for these fellowships by their respective Program Scholarship Committees. No application is necessary. For students who have won an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, the Rogers endowment fund may provide the matching institutional funds.
