Ryerson Graduate Student Travel Funding
The Ryerson Graduate Student Travel Fund is intended to encourage graduate students to present their research at a regional, national or international conference or equivalent academic event. To apply, applicants must be registered full-time at the time of application and conference attendance, in good academic standing, and an active participant (e.g. speaker, poster presenter, member of a panel or round table) in a conference (or other academic meeting) relevant to their academic program.
The President’s Office, The Office of Vice President Research and Innovation and the Yeates School of Graduate Studies are funding this initiative.
If your conference proceedings are related to a field that NSERC supports you may be considered to receive your travel funding from the NSERC General Graduate Studies Fund.
Value: Up to $300 (a maximum of one award per academic year)
Deadline: There is no deadline to apply for this funding. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
To apply for this funding you must complete a Graduate Student Travel Funding Application and email a scanned copy of the signed form to: gradfunding@ryerson.ca
A decision will be sent to you via email within two weeks. If approved for travel funding, upon your return, you must provide a scanned copy of a Graduate Student Travel Expense Form along with digital/scanned copies of your receipts to: gradfunding@ryerson.ca. Payments will be processed through your student account and emailed to you in full within one month.
