Financial support from various sources is available to eligible full-time graduate students.
Prospective graduate students who are eligible for NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships and Ontario Graduate Scholarships will be strongly encouraged to apply for these awards. The department expects to provide each student in our program with a good level of funding.

Ryerson University Graduate Funding
Ryerson University provides financial support in the form of scholarships, awards or assistantships for as many full-time students as possible. Scholarships and awards are offered on a competitive basis, so the number awarded in any year varies, depending on academic performance. Graduate Teaching Assistantships
Graduate students from our department will be generally expected to hold graduate teaching assistantships in the form of tutorial leaders or markers for undergraduate-level courses in mathematics.
Research Stipends
Through research grants funded from faculty members’ operating grants such as NSERC, graduate supervisors will provide partial financial support to students.
