Balance of Degree Fee

Part-time Master’s students should be aware that they may be required to pay additional academic fees in order to equal the total minimum fee paid by a full-time student in the same program.  The total minimum fee for a full-time student is based on the minimum time to completion for the program.  This Balance of Degree Fee is assessed just prior to graduation and is based on the tuition fees stated on the fees schedule in effect at the time of graduation.  The fees schedule can be found at the link above.

For the MA in International Economics and Finance program, the minimum time to completion for a full-time student is 3 terms (one academic year, over 12 months).  This equates to 6 terms (2 academic years, or 24 months) for a part-time student.
