Graduate Program in Immigration and Settlement Studies
Full-time and Part-time StudyThis program may be completed by full-time or part-time study. Both full-time and part-time students are required to successfully complete eight one-term courses and a Major Research Paper (MRP) to fulfill the masters degree requirements of this program.
Full-time students must enroll in the program for a minimum of three terms to complete the degree requirements. Part-time students must enroll in the program for a minimum of six terms or two academic years.
The maximum terms of program enrollment permitted for full-time students are six terms and nine terms for part-time students.
All graduate Students are required to maintain continuous registration in every term including the summer term until graduation or withdrawal, unless they have applied for and been granted Inactive Status based on grounds outlined in the Yeates School of Graduate Studies' policy in "Masters and PhD Policies and Procedures".
