Introduction

Ryerson University is continuing to monitor the global flu situation and is prepared to take appropriate steps in the event that circumstances change. The Ryerson University Flu Pandemic Plan (developed in 2006), Ryerson University Pandemic Planning: Academic Strategies, and Ryerson University Pandemic Planning: Strategies for Research have been created to protect the well-being of students, faculty and staff and to preserve the academic, research and financial integrity of the institution.

This website provides up-to-date information about H1N1 influenza (flu) and describes Ryerson University’s preparedness efforts and responses to the evolving pandemic.

As this public health situation evolves, all Ryerson community members should be aware that flu guidelines may change, depending upon the nature of the H1N1 virus and recommendations from our public health and pandemic partners to manage and prevent the spread of flu.

We ask all Ryerson students, faculty and staff to visit this page regularly.  Members of the Ryerson Community should also periodically check their University email accounts for updates.
