If you are seeking a place to live off-campus, please check out the resources listed below.
Prior to beginning a search, we recommend watching our Life Off-Campus presentation. This presentation covers essential information about living off-campus, including finding roommates, budgeting, apartment viewing and signing leases. Here is the link to the recording.
The three buildings listed below are not affiliated with Ryerson, but are located near campus with a substantial number of Ryerson students residing there. These buildings offer more of a traditional residence experience than living in a regular apartment or condo building. Spare is limited and going quickly. Please contact each building directly for further information.
You may also choose to rent an apartment on your own or with roommates.
We encourage you to be proactive in checking daily for housing opportunities given the competitive Toronto housing market.
We strongly recommend you try to visit each apartment prior to signing a lease.
In order to make living off-campus more convenient, you may choose to get Ryerson Community Meal Plan, which loads funds onto your student ID card (OneCard) that you can use to purchase food on campus.
If you are a new Ryerson student, congratulations and welcome! Follow this link for your important next steps, including tuition payment deadlines, course enrollment, health & dental insurance, activating your Ryerson email address and getting your OneCard. Don't forget to register for Orientation week!
