Are you ready to focus your development on enhancing your leadership capabilities?
Ryerson HR is pleased to present the Leadership@Ryerson Program, previously known as the Leadership Development Program (LDP). Modules are drawn from the proven content of the FranklinCovey flagship leadership development series and from Crucial Conversations® based upon the best-selling book. We will also be introducing Lumina Leader®, a psychometric tool used to create greater awareness around your leadership choices. You will receive one-on-one coaching by a certified Lumina coach.
The FranklinCovey Leadership Module Series™ include:
Clarifying Your Team's Purpose and Strategy™
Connect the purpose of your team to the mission, vision, values, and strategy of Ryerson.
Inspiring Trust™
Understand the connection between trust and employee engagement.
Unleashing Talent™
Tap into the unique talents and contribution of each member of your team.
Building Process Excellence™
Create processes that ensure ongoing success.
Leading Across Generations™
Learn how to leverage the differences between generations.
Crucial Conversations Training® is a two-day course that teaches skills for creating alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics—at all levels of the organization. By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), you'll begin to surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and then act on your decisions with unity and commitment.
The Lumina Spark program provides a colourful framework for better self understanding and helps people identify how to improve their working relationships with others. It will give you practical tools to produce results through the people around you.
The Lumina Leader program is designed to enhance your awareness of the leadership choices you are making. What you choose to do in the leadership role is heavily influenced by past experiences with positive and negative leaders and your personal experiences as a leader up to this point.
In these programs, the feedback process highlights individual diversity, indicates key strengths and addresses potential blind spots to ensure action-based learning that enhances interpersonal skills and leadership capability.
Modules include: self-assessments, 360 feedback and one-on-one coaching.
