New! Weekly "Ask a Ryerson Recruitment Expert" Sessions As recruitment professionals, it is not uncommon for us to get questions from staff and faculty about Ryerson's recruitment processes. These questions pop up in meetings, on the subway, or by email or phone, indicating to our team that there are a lot of myths that need to be dispelled, some inconsistent practices and a few misinterpretations of Ryerson's policies and collective agreements. We also get a lot of practical questions from employees about how they can progress in their careers here at Ryerson. Jessa Chupik, Manager of Recruitment, Retention and Employment Equity is now holding weekly open discussions for all faculty and staff. Read More |

Accessibility: A Lesson (or Refresher) in Technical Terms What is universal design? Adaptive technology? How about fillable forms or WCAG 2.0? Whether these terms are entirely new, or you're just not sure how they apply to accessibility, each is integral to maximizing accessibility as it relates to technology. At Ryerson, we're committed to providing an accessible learning and employment environment. In line with the start of a new school year, we thought it'd be a great time to review some of the accessibility terms specific to technical usage. Read More |
