Dear Faculty and Staff,

We are pleased to announce that the People First Survey group-specific results are now available for:

• CUPE 233
• CUPE 3904 Units 1, 2, 3
• MAC
• OPSEU
• RFA Faculty
  

To view the results, please visit the People First Survey section of the HR website. Log in with your my.ryerson ID to access the detailed results for each question.

Next Steps

Union leaders will determine how best to proceed on their union-specific results. For the MAC group, the representative on the employee survey committee, other MAC participants on the committee, and Human Resources will work together on the MAC group-specific results.

Faculty/Department-Specific Results

HR Consulting, Planning, and Organizational & Employee Effectiveness teams are currently conducting analyses of the faculty/administrative department-specific results. They will be meeting with the respective leaders to present the results and discuss next steps. This process should be completed in the Fall.

Faculty/department results will only be shared for groups that were able to identify their department in the survey. Some university offices were grouped together where there would not be sufficient participation to report the results, as Ipsos would only provide Ryerson the combined results of groups of 10 or more employees.

In addition, Ryerson will not have results separated by employee group for each faculty/administrative department, only by employee group for the university as a whole, in order to protect the anonymity of survey participants.

Focus Groups

As indicated in our previous communication, we are moving forward with a plan to further explore the university-wide survey results with focus groups. These groups will be facilitated by an external organization in order to protect privacy and confidentiality. We have completed the RFQ for this process and are on track to begin focus groups in late Spring.
