Employee Spotlight

For many staff and faculty members, the campus has been a quiet place the past few months. With most students out of class, Ryerson's streets and halls lack their energetic buzz. Missing the excitement? Witness Ryerson come alive this week while the campus hosts its annual orientation.

From the outside, the festivities appear to pop-up overnight, but for the staff behind the scenes, orientation planning has been the main focus many months in advance. YOUR PENSION & BENEFITS

What Does OHIP Cover?

In general, OHIP provides funding for medically necessary physician services, certain dental services that are required to be performed in a hospital, and some practitioner services that are therapeutically necessary.  OHIP may pay for other medical services and products, but a number of other factors come into play: for example, your age, your source of income, and whether or not you've been admitted to a hospital.  OHIP does not pay for services that are not medically necessary, such as cosmetic surgery. Read More
