Employee Spotlight:
Digital Education Strategies

The DES team works with program areas at Ryerson to create online and hybrid courses that provide flexible opportunities for adult learners to upgrade their skills in a format and time frame that works for them. eHR

Benefits of eHR

eHR provides employees of Ryerson with a variety of Self Service tools to view and update personal and employment information.

Services include:

  • Personal Information: View and update home and mailing address, phone numbers and emergency contacts.
  • Payroll and Compensation: View and update your eTD1, direct deposit and pay advice, consent to view your T4/T4A online and view them here.
  • Benefit Information: View your current enrolled benefits summary, your dependents and beneficiaries.

What are the benefits of eHR?

  1. You have control over your own information (banking, pay stubs, address changes, etc) in a safe and secure environment.
  2. Avoid paper forms and wait times to talk to a representative or have your data input to our system. Changes can be made at your own convenience!
  3. Going paperless is less time consuming and labour intensive. Printing and completing forms to send to HR to be processed – each step takes time and deadlines can be missed. Submitting through eHR is immediate.
  4. Cutting back on paper helps reduce Ryerson's carbon footprint, furthering our important Sustainability Initiatives, and allows Ryerson to make better use of budgets by reducing the costs of buying paper and ink cartridges.
  5. It's easy to use. For online instructions on getting starting and how to use it, visit www.ryerson.ca/hr/eHR/
