Permanent Residence to Canada
Canada relies heavily on immigration for sustainability and to ensure a strong economy. Additionally, interest in permanent residency remains high amongst the international student community at Ryerson. Recently, the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario have been targeting international students as prime candidates for immigration due to their Canadian education and work experience, and high adaptability to life in Canada.
There are several classes of permanent residency that international students might be eligible for that usually depend on level of education, professional work experience, and English and French proficiency. These include:
