Robert Hudyma B.Sc. ( Toronto), M.Sc. (Toronto Computer Science),has been a Ryerson faculty member since 2000 where he is responsible for developing and delivering courses in telecommunications and information security systems.  His research interests are in wireless networking and in the reliability of telecommunications networks.

Before joining Ryerson, he held senior management positions over a period of fifteen years with responsibilities for new product development in computers, consumer electronics, consumer durables and responsibilities for corporate restructuring following various mergers and acquisitions in large multi-national corporations including operations in the Far East and Europe.

Early in his career he held positions at Bell Northern Research and was a founding partner in a telecommunications startup company that developed a family of encryption products.
