Biography:

Loren Lind has held reporting positions on newspapers in the United States and Canada, lastly at The Globe and Mail. He has done freelance work for magazines, including column writing, and wrote a book on the Toronto school system entitled The Learning Machine, which won a Toronto Book Award.

In his final year of teaching (2001-2002), he taught Print Reporting (JRN 016).
