Biography:
Dean Tudor has been an academic administrator at Ryerson. Previously, he had worked in government. He has compiled periodical indexes, annotated bibliographies and critical discographies, plus the Canadian Book Review Annual, which he founded in 1975. Dean also edits several newsletters and is a contributing editor to various publications. He has written about music, food and wine for Canadian, American and British publications. He has served as editorial consultant to Canadian and American professional, trade and scholarly publishers.
His writings and Web sites have won several major awards in both Canada and the U.S. He is listed in Canadian Who's Who. This Is Ryerson has said,"Tudor is a master of information resources, the cornerstone of journalists' work." He wrote Finding Answers, which covers everything from researching the law to the arts. He retired in August 2000.
