Biography:
A freelance magazine and newspaper writer, Catherine Dunphy worked at the Toronto Star for more than 25 years as a lifestyle writer, movie reviewer, homeless reporter, obituary writer and feature writer. She is the author of Morgentaler, A Difficult Hero, shortlisted for a Governor General's award in 1997 as well as Caitlin and BLT, two young adult novels based on the Degrassi Classic television series. She has written for CBC's Riverdale television show and is the co-author of a radio mystery series called Fallaway Ridge. She currently writes for Reader's Digest, Best Health, Toronto Life and other magazines.
