School of Journalism
Biography:
Gary Gould is a broadcast television lab technician. He joined the School of Journalism in 1988 after a year at CBC's The Journal. Since 1993, Gary has been teaching journalism and film courses at the Oxford Media School in Oxford, England, during the summer.
Gary is a professional editor and cinematographer and has worked for CBC, CTV, National Film Board of Canada, Discovery Channel, Toronto EMS, the CNE, and the Mayor of Toronto. He has also done work with various Relief and Christian Mission agencies. He has worked in Africa, Albania, the Amazon, England, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Alaska. He graduated from Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts program, has a Masters of Theological Studies and is currently working on a PhD in Communications at Regent University in Virginia.
Gary provides production and technical support for all the television courses.
