Val Sonstegard

Val Sonstegard began working with students at the New School for Social Research and Columbia University in New York City after completing her BFA at York University. She has an M.A. in Counselling and Psychology (Adler School, Chicago, Illinois) and a certificate in Intercultural Studies from UBC. She is currently working towards her qualifications to become a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Provider. She volunteers her time with Bereaved Families of Ontario and AURA (Anglican and United Refugee Alliance). She joined the Learning Success Centre team in Fall of 2006.
