Freedom to Read Week encourages Canadians to
think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom,
which is guaranteed them under the Canadian Charter of Rights
and Freedoms. This virtual display provided links to several
related web sites.
The Black Experience in Canada was prepared in
conjunction with African Heritage / Black History Month 2008.
The display consists of links to Ryerson Library resources and
to related web sites.
The Lowenthal Dance Collection was acquired through
the joint efforts of the Ryerson Library and Ryerson's Dance
Program. The collection represents a broad cross-section of dance
forms and includes biographical, critical, pictorial and philosophical
discourses on dance. This virtual exhibition is based on a display
that was assembled in the Library's Reference area during the
fall of 2000.
Researching the Holocaust was prepared in conjunction
with the 20th Annual Holocaust Education Week, Oct. 28 through
Nov. 9, 2000. It highlights Web-based resources and materials
on the Holocaust available through the Ryerson Library.
