The Black Experience in Canada was prepared in conjunction with
African Heritage / Black History Month 2003, and was updated in
2012. It consists of links to Ryerson Library resources and to
related web sites.
The United Nations declared 2011 the UN Year for People of African Descent.
Several of the links available through this site are to the full
text of articles related to black history and culture in Canada.
Depending on the source, access to these materials may be limited
to members of the Ryerson community.
