Undergraduates Students: All Full and Part-time Ryerson Undergraduate students will be issued a Student Photo I.D./Library Card during registration week. Loan periods depend on individual items, but generally books may be borrowed for 2 weeks, with 3 renewals. Only 2 reserve items and 3 periodicals/maps may be borrowed at the same time. Interlibrary loans are free. Remote access to on-line resources is available with my.ryerson login or activated cards.

Graduate Students: All Ryerson Graduate students will be issued a Student Photo I.D./Library Card during registration week. Four reserve items and 6 periodicals/maps may be borrowed at the same time. Loan periods depend on items borrowed, but generally most books may be borrowed for 100 days, with 1 renewal. Interlibrary loans are free. Remote access to on-line resources is available with my.ryerson login or activated cards.

Life Institute: The Life Institute is affiliated with the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University. Members have two options: they can purchase a Ryerson Photo ID card for $20.00 from the One Card Office, or they may choose to apply for a Library Card at the Circulation Desk by showing their paid fee statements or a letter of acceptance. All cards must be revalidated each year. Loan periods depend on individual items, but generally books may be borrowed for 2 weeks, with 3 renewals.
