ARTstor

Brief Description:

ARTstor is a repository of hundreds of thousands of digital images and related data; provides tools to actively use those images; and is a restricted usage environment that seeks to balance the rights of content providers with the needs and interests of content users (from the ARTstor website).

ARTstor Library's initial content will include approximately 300,000 images covering artistic traditions across many times and cultures and embraces architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design as well as many other forms of visual culture. The Image Gallery also embraces an Art History Survey Collection of about 4,000 images selected on the basis of 13 standard art history survey texts.   1. Can you access other databases (eg. Proquest). If not, the problem is not Artstor specific and you should consult our remote access troubleshooting page.
