Brief Description

FIAF Index to Film Periodicals is a bibliographical index offering in-depth coverage of the world's foremost academic and popular film journals from 1972 to the present day. It contains:

  • International Index to Film Periodicals the main database consists of a full bibliographic description, an abstract and comprehensive headings (biographical names, film titles and general subjects) from over 300 periodicals.
  • Treasures from Film Archives contains information about the silent-era film holdings of film archives from around the world. This database encompasses features, short films, actualities as well as fictional works. Provides citations on over 35,000 works indicating original title, alternate titles, and key credits and production information.
  • Documentation Collections consists of detailed information about the documentation collections of the world's foremost film archives, libraries, and educational institutions.
  • FIAF Member's Publications contains detailed information on books, pamphlets, programmes, and other materials published since 1966 by FIAF archives. For comprehensive indexing search from 1966 onwards.
