- Conduct your search and select the reference/s you wish to send to RefWorks using the checkboxes provided.
- Select Download Citation from the Choose an Action drop-down menu and click Go.
- Select RefWorks from the Choose a format drop-down menu.
- Select Citation and Abstract and download file.
- Save the file and rename it something you will recognize.
- Log in to RefWorks.
- Select Import from the References menu.
- Choose RefWorks Tagged Format as the Import filter/data source and choose Tagged Format as the database.
- Browse to find your saved file.
- Click Import.
