Brief Description:

UNdata is a wide-ranging subscription database which covers all countries and areas and selected series from more than 30 specialized international data sources.
It draws selectively on statistics from throughout the UN system and brings them together using a common platform and interface, and global statistical standards. UNCDB also covers selective statistics from other international sources including FAO, ILO, IMF, ITU, OECD, UNESCO, WHO, WIPO, World Bank and World Tourism Organization, among others.

Dates of Coverage: In most cases time series are available from 1970 or 1980 - present
Frequency of Updates: Continuously updated as new data become available from countries, regional commissions and agencies
Record Type: Time series data files
Number of Records: More than eight million data elements in more than 300 statistical series
Subjects Covered: Merchandise trade, national accounts, demography and population, energy, status of women, industrial commodities production, etc.
