Printing

There are six networked laser printer available in the Library, located on the main floor in the Reference area. To print from machines in the Library or Labs, you will need to have funds available on your student card. Funds can be loaded onto your card on the 5th floor of the Library at the fill machines located near the photocopy machines or on the fill machines in the main lobby of the Library. For the location of other fill machines, check the OneCard Fill Machine map. Copy cards for the use of the printers are also available from the fill machines in the Library or from the Ryerson One-Card Office. Printing costs $0.07 per page.

Funds can also be added to your OneCard using VISA, MasterCard or AmEX by visiting the OneCard office or calling them at 416-979-5000 x7565.

Print jobs may also be sent from the Library computers to printers in KHW71 and the lab in BUS511.

Printing from wireless laptops: To print using your wireless laptop, you will need to log into the Ryerson University Campus Printing Service (this link will only work on wireless laptops). CCS provides more information about this service in their user's guide under Ryerson University Campus Printing Service (CPS).

Colour Printing

Colour printing is now available in the Library's Information Commons. To print in colour, select LIB272 Colour Laser from the list of available printers. Colour prints cost 50 cents a page.

Colour printing is also available in the KHW71 lab in Kerr Hall and at the Print Centre in Jorgenson Hall JOR04.

Scanning

Two scanners (Microtek ScanMaker i900) are now available in the Library. They are located next to the printers in the Information Commons. Documents can be scanned using the Microtek ScanWizard Pro v7.0 software which is loaded on both PCs connected to the scanners.

Scanners are also available in the KHW71 lab in Kerr Hall. Details about the scanners are listed in the User's Guide to Academic Computing and the Internet (scroll down to the Scanners section). Scanning is also available at Copyrite in the Student Centre, 55 Gould Street, SSCB03.
