Information Board Policy

The Library Information Board is located near the Reference and Technology Support Desk in the Ronald D. Besse Information and Learning Commons.

Library staff are responsible for monitoring and maintaining the material posted on the bulletin board. Groups or individuals who wish to post information should present their poster to staff at the Reference and Technology Support Desk for on-site approval. Only one copy of each poster or flyer is permitted, and posters and flyers must conform to the size dimensions of the information board. Postings publicizing a date-specific event will be removed after the event has taken place, and postings may be removed as space is required. No commercial postings please.

Appropriate bulletin board materials and announcements may be defined as the following:

a. Campus events, defined as a university-sponsored event that will be taking place on the Ryerson campus.

b. Scholarships and study abroad programs.

c. University-affiliated academic, research or volunteer opportunities.
