Theft and Vandalism

Mutilation or theft of library material is a serious offence, resulting in a penalty of $100 in addition to replacement costs. Other possible penalties include academic sanctions and suspension of library privileges, disclosure of the offense to Academic Chairs, etc. Security may be called in to assist in cases of theft or vandalism, and in some instances police may be called and charges laid.
