The Ryerson Archives acquires, preserves and makes available the historical records of the University and its predecessor institutions. Examples include correspondence, administrative files, reports, committee records, photographs, moving image records, architectural drawings and artifacts. These materials are to be used in the library only.

Services offered include research assistance for course assignments and papers as well as for internal administrative projects and inquiries; displays and tours; a reading room; computerized finding aids; and a records management service.
