To identify books on your topic in the
Library Catalogue, use
the "keywords" option. Enter keywords such as "personnel management"
or "employee benefits". You may want to use Boolean
Searching techniques to make your search more efficient.
For example:
Topic: how to motivate
employees
Strategy: motivat* and employee*
Using "and" will find every item in the
catalogue that has both the words "motivation" and "employee"
in it. The asterisk (*) acts like a wild card to find different endings.
"motivat*" will find "motivation", "motivate", and "motivating".
"Employee*" will find both singular and plural, i.e., "employee" and
"employees" .
Please note that the term "personnel management" is more effective in searching our catalogue than "human
resources".

catalogue. Search by keyword as follows. Example:
teamwork and videorecording
You can also limit your search to videos,
or other types of av material, by choosing the "Limit this search"
option at the top of the screen. Then select material type, and choose
