Statutes of Canada contain the text of the Acts of Parliament
(other than appropriation Acts and private Acts) which received
royal assent in a given calendar year. Access to these documents
is determined by chapter number. For ease of reference, Bill identifiers
are also included.

(Parliament of Canada) The availability of a bill on the website
may be delayed by two or more working days following the completion
of its stage in the legislative process. The printed version (as

bill. Bills sponsored by the Government which are first introduced
in the Senate are prefixed with the letter "S". Government Bills
first introduced in the House of Commons are prefixed with the
letter "C". In order to find a bill by subject, use the Hansard
Index; information on navigating the bills is in the User's Guide.
