Periodicals Collection

The library provides access to a broad range of journals, magazines, newsletters, and newspapers in print and electronic formats. Journals by Title A-Z is a complete list of both print and electronic titles available, with the exception of periodicals on microfiche or Lexis-Nexis. The print collection is on the 5th floor and is shelved in the same call number sequence as books.  Holdings information for the print collection can be found in the library catalogue.

Finding Journal Articles

To identify articles on your topic, you will need to search an index or full-text database.  For useful databases, consult the list of recommended math databases, our full list of databases, or the Science and Technology section. To connect from home, consult the instructions on Accessing Databases from Home. You may want to use Boolean search strategies to search these databases effectively.
