Periodical databases
Ryerson community members have access to a number of online periodical
databases which may prove helpful. In order to access the databases
off-campus you must have a valid Ryerson Student card or a valid
Ryerson Library card.
Suggested Databases:
Search these databases using the name of your neighbourhood. Be
sure to search variations of the name if these exist.
Web Resources
Many neighbourhoods have
their own web site. Below is a sampling of community websites within
the City of Toronto. A fuller list can be found at the Toronto Public Library HisTORicity site.
Some communities also
have associations you can phone or visit.
Public Library branches
often have local material. Visit the Toronto
Public Library's website.
