Timothy Pychyl
Dr. Timothy A. Pychyl is an associate professor at Carlton University, cross-appointed to the Department of Psychology and the Center for Initiatives in Education. His research interest in procrastination (see www.carlton.ca/~tpychyl) complements his passion for teaching, with a clear focus on students and their learning. Dr. Pychyl has diverse teaching experiences both in and out of the classroom. He has won four teaching awards including the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Association Teaching Award in 1998, as well as being named a 3M Teaching Fellow in the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in 1999. During his sabbatical this year, he is completing work on an online version of his graduate Seminar in University Teaching with the support of a University Teaching Achievement.
