Math Assistance Centre
About Us
The new Math Assistance Centre at Ryerson offers support to all students needing help with their math-related skills. Through the Centre, Ryerson is committed to student success by offering support -- in the form of drop-in tutoring and study groups -- to those that need additional mathematics assistance.
During its first year, MAC's goal is to establish itself as a part of Student Learning Support on campus. Students requiring extra help in their first and second year math and statistics courses are encouraged to take advantage of the Centre's tutoring and FA-ST programs. As the Centre evolves and grows, its available services will too; future plans include online tutoring, and FA-ST groups for multiple courses.
Dr Boza Tasic, an instructor in the department of mathematics at Ryerson, is the coordinator of the Math Assistance Centre. He can be reached through the Centre by emailing MAC@ryerson.ca, or visit the Math Assistance Centre in person on the 5th floor of the Library Building (LIB-549B).
