Workstations
Ryerson students in the Geospatial Map and Data Centre have access to 4 Pentium-5 - 3.4 GHz computers with 1 GIG RAM, 160 GB hard drives, 19" flat panel or CRT monitors, and optical mice. In addition, all of the workstations on the third floor in room 393A are also equipped with GIS capabilities.

General Library Workstations
Ryerson students have access to 140 Pentium-5 - 3.4 GHz computers with 1 GIG RAM, 160 GB hard drives, 19" flat panel or CRT monitors, and optical mice. Forty-four of these workstations (located in the Information and Learning Commons) are equipped with DVD read/writers.

Printing
All students using workstations in the Ryerson University Library have access to 6 High Capacity Black & White Printers.

Internet
All labs are connected to the internet and the WWW is used primarily for research purposes.

Light Table
Ryerson students have acess to a desk sized (40cm x 50cm) light table in the Geospatial Map and Data Centre. Larger (90cm x 150cm) light tables can be found on the 3rd floor of the Ryerson University Library.
