Provincial Sources

Below is a list of links to agencies that manage statistics within their respective provincial governments:

  • Alberta - Ministry of Finance and Enterprise of Alberta provide wide range of statistic in Alberta such as demographic statistic and spatial price survey of communities.  Statistics like custom economic impact analysis and Alberta economic multipliers can be ordered with charges.

  • British Columbia - BC Stats is the central statistical agency of the Province of British Columbia. It has the provincial government's largest concentration of statistical products, services and expertise.

  • Manitoba - Government of Manitoba provides general information on Manitoba’s climate, economy, geography, heritage and more.
  • New Brunswick - Department of Finance provides information on budget and economic and social indicators.
  • Newfoundland and Labrador - Newfoundland Statistics Agency provides statistical information range from population and demographics to telecommunication and transportation.
  • Northwest Territories - NWT Stats responsible for the Territorial government's statistical program and provides statistics on-line.

Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) also provides data at the provincial level including labour market, workplace and employment data.
