Aboriginal Student Services

Aboriginal Student Services provides specialized services to Aboriginal, Inuit, and Métis students on campus and fosters a mutually productive relationship between Ryerson and the Aboriginal community.

Services include:

  • Admissions advocacy

  • Aboriginal community outreach and recruitment
  • Assistance with financial planning
  • Aboriginal student lounge
  • Cultural/traditional programming
  • Academic referrals
  • Bursary information
  • Newsletter
  • Aboriginal peer supporters
  • Tutors

The Coordinator of Aboriginal Student Services is available to provide academic, personal, and career counseling to all Aboriginal students on campus. The Coordinator organizes and supervises a range of culturally supportive services for Aboriginal students in order to create a safe and accessible environment. Furthermore,information aboutand referrals foroff-campus Aboriginal housing and daycare will be done through the R.A.S.S. office.
