Student Programs

Welcome to the Student Programs portion of the website. In Student Programs we are here to help you in your transition into the University Environment. Once that has been accomplished, we provide opportunities for students to become involved and to connect with other students in the Ryerson community. If you have any questions or want to get involved, please visit our website (www.ryerson.ca/stuprog/) or come visit us in POD 61.

Programs and Services:

We start the year with Orientation (www.ryerson.ca/firstyear). We have a number of Orientation events that are geared specifically to mature students, which we run with other Ryerson Departments. If you are an upper year mature student, during the year we provide the opportunity for you to get involved in organizing next year's events.

Out of Student Programs we also run the LEAD program (www.ryerson.ca/leadership), where students can enhance and gain leadership skills and experience. In first year you will also see Campus Leadership Advisors (CLAs) (www.ryerson.ca/CLA) visit your classroom. They are there to help you in your transition into your University academic life.

If you are planning or need funding for an event (www.ryerson.ca/studentevents), please look into our risk assessment procedures and our PFACs information to apply for grant money from Ryerson.
