David Baird

David Baird is a full-time Test Prep Instructor who has been teaching, training and tutoring students in standardized test preparation for the GMAT, LSAT, and GRE exams for the past 10 years. Since 2001, David has taught hundreds of test prep courses to thousands of satisfied students at over a dozen major colleges and universities across Canada.
David is currently the Lead GMAT Instructor for Quantum Test Prep (www.QuantumTestPrep.com), an elite test preparation firm located in downtown Toronto. David also regularly teaches the GMAT Test Prep Toronto program (www.gmattoronto.ca) at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM).
Prior to joining Quantum Test Prep, David worked for 6½ years as a GMAT Instructor for Oxford Seminars and 1½ years as a GMAT Instructor/Trainer for The Princeton Review. He completed his GMAT Trainer certification at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in January 2002 and has now personally trained more than thirty new GMAT instructors since then. David has also written the GMAT, having scored in the top 2-3% of all test takers.
Academically, David holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business. He also spent over two years working and studying business abroad at the Universität Mannheim in Mannheim, Germany, the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE) in Barcelona, Spain, and the Ecole Superiéure de Commerce (ESC-Lyon) in Lyon, France. He speaks both German and Spanish.
Professionally, David has more than six (6) years work experience in three major business sectors: Management Consulting, International Finance and Investment Banking. His experience includes both an International Management Consultant position at the Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt, Germany, and most recently, a Senior Financial Analyst position at Merrill Lynch in Toronto, Canada.
