Admission to the MBA or MMSc program is competitive and requires:
- Completion of a four-year bachelor's degree from a recognized institution. Students without an undergraduate degree in business will begin the program in Foundation courses.
- A minimum B (70% or above) average in your last 2 years of university study. (Including post graduate university programs)
- A minimum score of 550 or more on the GMAT test (Test scores are valid for five years after test examination date. Highest valid GMAT score will be used for consideration. Average GMAT score of class entering the Ryerson MBA program in 2011 is 615.)

- An English language proficiency score for applicants who have degrees from institutions in which English is not the language of instruction or examination. Click here for all acceptable tests and their minimum scores
- A comprehensive resume
- A statement of interest (guidelines provided once application has been initiated)
- Preference will be given to those who have a minimum of two years full-time post-graduate work experience.
- MMSc applicants require a statement of research interest and identification of a potential supervisor(s). Contact with potential supervisors prior to application is recommended

*An application will be considered for admission only if it is complete and submitted by the appropriate deadline, given space availability. This includes the GMAT score.
Foundation Courses*
The Foundation courses comprise of 5 credits and are designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in a discipline other than business. Full-time students will begin the Foundation courses in May and part-time students will begin the Foundation courses in September.
