Research Expertise: IT Planning, IT Governance
Ron Babin holds a BSc in computer science, an MBA from York University and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Babin is currently an assistant professor and interim director of the Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management at Ryerson University. Babin joined Ryerson University after 22 years as a senior IT management consultant for major global consulting firms. He was a partner at Accenture and at KPMG, where he was responsible for IT Strategy practices in Toronto. Babin also taught at York University, and was a guest lecturer at Queen's University, the University of Toronto and at the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Babin's area of research is IT Planning and IT Governance with a specific focus on IT outsourcing and off-shore delivery.
