Biography:
Research Expertise: Corporate Finance, Pensions, Corporate Social Responsibility
Dr. Allen Goss holds a MBA and a PhD in Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Goss’ research areas include corporate social responsibility, ethical investing, and pension economics. He is currently a member of the Financial Management Association, the Northern Finance Association and the Eastern Finance Association. Goss has published extensively, with articles appearing in the Journal of Pension Economics and Finance, and the Journal of Portfolio Management. Goss’ latest paper “Corporate Financial Responsibility and Financial Distress,” received an honourable mention for the prestigious Moskowitz Prize. Currently he is working on research into the collapse of the Canadian asset backed commercial paper market in 2007.
