Ted Rogers School of Management Graduate Entrance Scholarships and Awards


Thanks to a $15 million donation from Ted and Loretta Rogers, each year the Ted Rogers School of Management issues a total of 18 Graduate Entrance Scholarships and Awards worth up to $20,000 each.

Eligibility and Criteria

Eligibility is restricted to full time applicants to one of the following programs:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • MBA in the Management of Technology and Innovation (MBA)
  • Master of Management Science (MMSc) in the Management of Technology and Innovation

The criteria for a Ted Rogers Graduate Entrance Scholarship is based solely on academic excellence.

The criteria for a Ted Rogers Graduate Entrance Award include academic excellence, extracurricular/community involvement, and financial need.

Ontario Institute of PMAC Graduate Awards

TREBThanks to a $60,000 donation from the Ontario Institute of Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC), each year the Ted Rogers School of Management issues a total of up to two Graduate Awards worth up to $2,500 each.

Eligibility and Criteria

Eligibility is restricted to full time applicants in the following program:

  • MBA in the Management of Technology and Innovation (MBA) specializing in Supply Chain Management

The criteria for an Ontario Institute of PMAC Graduate Award include: academic excellence in the courses required for the Supply Chain Management Specialization; financial need; and providing a one page essay outlining interest and/or activities in the area of Supply Chain Management as a career focus. Please check with the MBA program office for further details.

 

TREB Commercial Divison Award Program

TREBDesigned to foster awareness of the commercial real estate industry in the GTA, this program will provide a post secondary graduate student with hands on experience in commercial real estate research as well as assist in their financial obligations during their studies. Government Loans

All Graduate Programs at the Ted Rogers School of Management are accredited by the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Upon acceptance to one of these programs, students may apply for a government student loan. Employment Opportunities

Research Assistants

Research Assistant (RA) employment is available to students assisting Principal Investigators in conducting research activities not related to their studies. The minimum rate of pay is defined by the Granting Council (SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR) or organization/institution who is providing funds to the Principal Investigator.


Graduate (Teaching) Assistants

Graduate Assitants (GA’s) must be a Ryerson Graduate Student enrolled on a full-time basis, appointed to assist with teaching or related duties.  Such students shall be Ryerson students, enrolled in the University’s Master’s or PhD programs. Employment opportunities may be offered by departments or schools. Full-time graduate students can be employed for a maximum of 10 hours per week. Students may be offered GA positions by their program, and/or the positions will be posted on the HR website.  Click GA Opportunities for current postings.

External Sources of Financial Aid

Applicants are encouraged to conduct research on external organizations that may offer scholarships or bursaries. There are many scholarships and bursaries available to Graduate students via external organizations.
