Darayus Chaiwalla

Darayus has seven years of experience in business intelligence and analytics, research communications, marketing and health care. He is specializing in Data Analytics and currently works as a Data Analyst Intern at RBC, in the prestigious RBC Amplify 2017 program. Darayus has been recognized for his ability to connect, establish and maintain business relationships. He wants to leverage his business intelligence and analytics skills to Big Data technology and help businesses become more profitable, sustainable, innovative, disruptive and employee-friendly.

Jasmin Matalla 

MBA in Management of Technology & Innovation, 2017

Jasmin has seven years of experience in retail management for Vodafone Germany, where she was project manager for the end-to-end launch of Vodafone’s flagship stores, managing project lifecycle and successfully launching a new store design for more than 600 stores within one year. Jasmin served as the Retail Communications lead for all Vodafone consumer channels including corporate stores, franchise partner locations, local retailers and online sales. Jasmin was selected for the Ted Rogers MBA Junior Fellows Leadership Program, participating in an 8-month leadership coaching program led by senior executives across various industries.

Darren Brocklehurst

A Certified Professional Agile Scrum Master with a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science (University of Waterloo), Darren bleeds technology and thrives within the chaos of innovation. With 20 years of industry experience, the Ted Rogers MBA has honed his management skills. Darren’s backgrounds in improv comedy and Toastmasters have developed him into a world-class communicator. Darren is seeking a challenging role where his communication, negotiation, presentation and leadership skills can be put to excellent use. His IT background makes him an ideal agile coach, with the leadership to be effective and technical chops to win the trust of his team. 

Shivir Verma

MBA Global, 2017

Shivir has 16 years of experience in Human Capital Management & Global Strategy and has managed projects in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. He has been at the forefront of strategic growth, leading successful teams that contributed to financial growth and social change. As Associate Vice President Talent Acquisition at Aegis, he handled a team of 140+ resources across 14 cities. At the Ted Rogers MBA, Shivir served as Vice President of Relations for the Women in Leadership Association during its most successful fundraising year. Shivir is seeking a role in Human Capital that will leverage his global exposure to create positive people change and strategic growth.  

Binwant Singh Sidhu

Binwant has a Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering and aced his GMAT with 670 and perfect Quantitative scores (top 1%). He is the president of Net Impact Ryerson and one of 20 Junior Fellows at the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre. Binwant has been an intern at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and an SAP Consultant, providing innovative and automated solutions towards excellent client services. Binwant aims to work towards generating directed impact on client/customer services through Management/HR Consulting and Project Management in banking or professional services.

Ranjani Ranganathan

Ranjani has a passion for tech product management and marketing. She is experienced in defining business-focused strategies that support overall client objectives, and developing solutions for both internal and external clients with expertise working in various multimillion projects. Ranjani worked as an SAP consultant at Cognizant Technology Solutions for four years. Her key role involved providing consulting services to clients and identifying and implementing the appropriate enterprise application software solutions, and enabled her to provide optimized business processes by leveraging the SAP technologies for leading global retailers in the UK and US. 

Maximillian (Max) Piltz

MBA in Management of Technology & Innovation, 2017

Max has volunteered in 22 countries, where he learned how to communicate and problem solve in unique situations. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a double major in History and Political Science and worked as Assistant General Manager at two popular Thai restaurants in downtown Toronto, where he developed and nurtured his passion for strategy, operations and food. Max’s MBA case competition successes include 3rd place at Dalhousie’s Ethics in Action case competition and 2nd place at SABR Diamond Dollars Baseball Analytics case competition. Max is a Research Assistant specializing in Data Analytics and is seeking a role in consulting, where he can bring together his passions for strategy, operations and analytics. 

Mathew Cordeiro

Mathew is Vice President of Finance for the Ted Rogers School of Management MBA Student Association and a member of Ted Rogers Junior Fellowship Program. Mathew has showcased his academic abilities in Finance cases at the Degroote School of Business and Vancouver Island University. Mathew is certified in Bloomberg Essentials and the Canadian Securities course. He holds a BComm in Finance from Ryerson University. Mathew enjoys solving complex problems and improving current processes. With over 5 years of financial services and analytics experience, he aims to return to the financial services industry with a new perspective.
