Biography:
Dr. Jun Cao obtained his PhD degree in Applied Mathematics in 1995 from University of Paris VI, France. He conducted CFD research work at Dassault Aviation, University of California at San Diego, Stanford University, Simon Fraser University and University of Victoria, and developed numerical tools for applications in the areas of aerospace engineering, environmental engineering, and fuel cell technology. He joined the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Ryerson University in 2000. Currently, Dr. Cao's research work focuses on numerical simulation of complex flows and transport phenomena of industrial interests using both in-house and commercial CFD software packages.
