Biography:
Dr. C. Ravindran has a diversified background in research, teaching, technology development and transfer, financial management and senior administrative leadership in the industry. His current activities include research in near-net-shape processing of materials, and consulting and leadership roles in many professional societies with extensive interactions with industry and government in North America.

Research Interest:
Fundamental understanding of interactive parameters of foam, permanent, die, sand and other casting processes for alloys of magnesium, aluminum and iron with focus on energy and material conservation, quality, castability, mechanical properties, life extension and recycling, for automotive and aerospace sectors.
