The final exam period can be a particularly stressful time of year for students. If you find yourself struggling, feeling overwhelmed or having trouble focusing - during exams or at any point in the academic year - know that you are not alone, and that help is available on Ryerson’s campus.

If you are in crisis and need immediate help:
A crisis situation involves your safety and well-being or that of someone else. This can include thoughts and plans about harming yourself or someone else.

If you need personalized care:
The Centre for Student Development and Counselling (CSDC) (opens in new window)  provides personalized care.

When you first visit, you can start with a same-day appointment (or book an appointment in advance) to develop your personalized care plan with a counsellor. Same-day appointments are typically available if you call before 10 a.m. This plan may include supports such as group therapy, on-campus and online support services, or one-on-one counselling (which typically requires a waiting period).
